Michael Velarde has exclusively represented Plaintiffs in civil litigation lawsuits for over 12 years. He focuses his practice on personal injury and employment law matters and routinely litigates against large corporations and insurance carriers. Mr. Velarde was recognized by SuperLawyers magazine as a rising star on multiple occasions. He is passionate about what he does and is proud of California's tradition as a world leader in protecting the rights of the injured. Through his aggressive representation, he sees to it that those rights are enforced. He regularly represents clients in both state and federal courts, as well as mediations and arbitrations.
Mr. Velarde received his legal training at USC Law School. He is bilingual in Spanish and has enjoyed working with clients from diverse national backgrounds. For the past eight years, he has volunteered as a mentor attorney with the UC Irvine law school legal aid clinic.
